Salesforce compra Braze por unos 5,660 millones de dólares: la carrera por convertir datos del cliente en acciónSalesforce to acquire Braze for about $5.66 billion: the race to turn customer data into action

2026-10-27

Salesforce signed a definitive agreement to acquire Braze, a customer engagement platform known for high-volume cross-channel messaging. CX Today, in an analysis dated October 27, 2026, puts the deal at about $5.66 billion.

What is actually being bought

According to the analysis, Salesforce already had customer context in Data 360, Customer 360, Marketing Cloud and Agentforce, but lacked Braze's ability to react quickly to live behavior through an event-streaming architecture. Patrick Stokes, Salesforce's President of Applications and Marketing, said Braze was built to turn live customer behavior into personalized engagement at scale.

Not the only move

  • Databricks launched CustomerLake Campaign Agents in beta, to build audiences in natural language and sync them to Braze and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Optimove introduced "zero copy" customer lists defined on data held in Snowflake without copying it.

What a mid-sized company should note

The underlying message is that the value lies in customer data, not in the channel. For an SMB or a branch network this starts long before buying platforms: knowing which requests arrive, through which channel, how long they take to resolve and whether the customer had to come back. Servigo365 records each request as a ticket with history and SLA, and Nexturno measures waiting times and flow in branches; that orderly data is the raw material for any analysis or automation the company decides to pursue.
